Azure Diving Club was started by Ahmed Rashid, a Hurghada-born instructor who'd spent the previous decade guiding boats up and down the Red Sea for other operators. He was tired of one thing in particular: 12-diver groups.
So he opened a dive shop with a different rule. Maximum four students per instructor. Often 1:1. Same instructor every day of your trip. No upselling, no hidden fees, no rushing through certifications. The kind of dive shop he himself would book on holiday.
15 years later, the rule still holds. We're still small, still independent, still in Hurghada. The team has grown to five full-time instructors and the boats from one to two. Everything else is exactly the same.
