Family Snorkeling
Guided shallow snorkeling on the calmest reefs. Floatation vests, child-sized gear, parent-friendly schedule.
PADI Bubblemaker
A magical first scuba experience in shallow water (max 2 m), 1:1 ratio, child equipment, certificate.
Junior Open Water
Kids aged 10-14 can become certified Junior Open Water divers (depth limited to 12 m). Same course as adults, child-paced.
Full Open Water
Teens 15+ get the full adult Open Water certification. The most popular family activity we run.
A note for nervous parents.
We've run the family programs at DiveRED for over a decade and certified hundreds of children. The pattern is always the same: parents are more nervous than the kids, and the kids get on with it brilliantly. Our instructors who teach kids (Lena and Yara, mostly) are specifically chosen for the patience and gentleness it requires.
Parents are always welcome on the boat or poolside. We have child-sized everything. We never push, we never rush, and if a child decides midway through that they're done — we're done. No questions, no shame.
