What to expect
Abu Ramada South is one of those rare Red Sea sites that delivers something at every depth. Drop in at the north end and let the gentle current carry you south along a wall draped in pink and purple soft coral. Keep an eye on the blue — barracuda often come in close, batfish tend to hover at 15 m, and the Napoleon wrasse on this reef are bold and curious. Surface near a sun-soaked shallow plateau where anthias swirl in clouds against the white sand.
